This Saturday in Bangkok, One Championship is putting on a ground breaking event that features some of the best Strikers in the world. While most organizations feature either MMA, Kickboxing, Boxing or Muay Thai, One Championship is forging a new path by creating fight cards that include all of the top striking disciplines in one show.

The Kingdom of Heroes show features the world’s best Boxers, Kickboxers, Muay Thai, and MMA fighters in the same fight card. Instead of forcing Muay Thai fighters to fight Kickboxing fights, One Championship created a Muay Thai division to keep the essence of Muay Thai alive. This means the fights will feature elbows, knees, and clinching.

This is amazing news for the sport of Muay Thai because it means that Muay Thai fighters don’t have to fight on Kickboxing shows in order to get paid. One Championship has signed some of the biggest names in Muay Thai to ensure that the art of Muay Thai can maintain its essence. Any organization that is promoting the sport of Muay Thai is something that I am proud to get behind.

In the main event, Thailand’s best Boxer Srisaket Sor Rungvisai puts his skill on the line as he fights in front of a home crowd in Bangkok. Srisaket made a name for himself when he won the WBC super flyweight title in the USA. This is the second fight in a row that Srisasket will be fighting in Bangkok and he will be defending his WBC super flyweight against Mexican fighter Iran Diaz.

The co-main event features a female world title Kickboxing fight between Thailand’s Stamp Fairtex vs. Kai Ting Chuang. A personal favorite fighter of mine Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will be featured in a Muay Thai bout against Mehdi Zatout from France.

The show also features Kickboxing legend Andy Souwer and MMA legend Shinya Aoki. If you are a fan of Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, or MMA, this is one show that you is going to have something for everything.

If you are going to be in Bangkok this weekend on Saturday, you can get tickets to this event HERE. The show also available to be streamed live on their app. I will be at the event, so if you so a guy wearing a Muay Thai Pros shirt, feel free to say hi!
