This is the second most notable award given to Muay Thai fighters, the first being the sports writers top fighter of the year.

This year Peankon Tor.Surath (ปืนกล ต.สุรัตน์) was the winner of this prestigious award. He is the current 115 lbs Rajadamnern champion and finished the year undefeated against tough competition. The 115 lb weight division is extremely competitive in Thailand and features some of the best fighters in the country.
