Glory Fight card Mirko Cro-Cop Remy BonjaskyGlory – the new premier kickboxing league – has announced a new one night, four-man Middleweight Contender tournament that will be broadcast live from Zagreb, Croatia on the Saturday, March 8th.

UPDATE: Ky Hollenbeck has pulled out of the fight between Andy Ristie because of a conflict in schedule with his fireman training. He chose his pursuit of becoming a fireman over his fight career. Probably a wise choice in the long run. He has been replaced by Davit Kiria.

This will be an exciting match that will feature a couple of living legends in showcased heavyweight fight between Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic vs another living legend of the sport Remy Bonjasky. This is a rematch bout between the two older fighters who fought 12 years ago and ended with Cro-Cop getting the win via TKO.

This is an exciting match up because I remember watching the original fight they had where Cro-cop won. Both of these fighters are legends and it will be interested to watch them perform at this stage of their careers, as nobody would argue that they are both out of their prime fighting level.

Hopefully it is a good result for the fans looking forward to watch the fight.

The co main event will feature the #1 ranked Andy Ristie who will face a rising Challenger from the U.S. Ky Hollenbeck, who is currently sitting at #5 in the rankings.

Both fighters fought on the last fight card in New York that saw Andy Ristie tearing his way through the lightweight division by knocking out both Giorgio Petrosyan and Robin Van Roosmalen on the same night. A miraculous win that showcased his awesome talent.

The fourman challenger tournament will consist of Sahak Parparyan or Armenia who will face Jason Wilnis of the Netherlands. The other bracket will showcase the American Dustin Jacoby who will fast a determined Alex Pereira from Brazil.

I think that Mirko Cro Cop is going to repeat what he did in the earlier in his fight career beat Remy Bonjasky for the second time. The fight will end in the second round with a KO by right punch. In the four man tournament that is going to take place on the card I think the Alex Pereira of Brazil is going to win the event. He’s been looking good recently and I think he has what it takes to challenge in his division.
