K1 world maxBuakaw Banchamek (Thailand) was recently in action against Lee Sung-Hyun (Korea) for the semi final K-1 world max final 4 tournament. He looked really sharp in the fight. Even though Buakaw wasn’t able to use elbows or clinch his opponent, he still overwhelmed Lee with his overall experience. Lee Sung-Hyun put up a good fight against the K-1 champ, but was no match for Buakaw’s many years of experience.

The other semi-final event on the card saw Enriko Kehl (Germany) defeat Shane Campbell (Canada) with a unanimous decision. Enriko dictated the pace throughout most of the fight and was able to land the shots he needed to take the fight on points.

These results mean that Buakaw Banchamek and Enriko Kehl will be in the K-1 World Max tournament final. Buakaw is expected to win the tournament with relative ease considering he easily took care of Enriko in a Max Muay Thai event that took place in Khon Kaen Thailand. Expect to see the same result, even though Buakaw isn’t able to use elbows and clinch in this fight.
